Reflection


Hi blog! I will be reflecting about my all about me commercial. The technology I learned to use is an editing app that I know will also come useful in the future. I can use this editing app for numerous reasons as well. This editing app was very resourceful and easy to use. From this I have learned many ways I can differentiate my many projects I have to do for Media Studies. Since this was my first project I was still learning how to use it. I have also learned how to use different editing things that come with my iPhone. I feel my editing skills have improved by learning the technology I've used. 

I've learned many things about putting a project together. I've learned how to manage my time better. Since I've had many other assignments to do for my other classes, I thought I wouldn't have much time to put together my project but I did. The ways I managed my time was by putting up different alarms for my assignments. When I had free time I would use all that time doing my work for all of my classes. I also put up different goals for me, for my project. For example, during the process of creating my project I would say I'm going to finish this slide for the day and I'll move on to next one tomorrow. 

I think I would do many things to make many of my other projects better. Since I've learned to officailly edit, many of my future projects would have better editing than this one. I would also have better preparation than this one as I already know how to work everything. For the editing I can also add more special effects since I did not know how to edit it in for this commercial. I feel like editing is very imortant for projects beacue they add many things to make your project better. I can also learn how to use the camera more as it is very importnat for many upcoming projects. I will also learn how to better put my projects together by creating schedules, etc.

Working Title: The title of this film will likely be "Endless Dreaming"  It will be in bold face font and in caps and will likely be in red: SOMETHING ALONG THIS STYLE  Titles will all be "typed" on to the screen. They will come as being typed and disappear with a fade. Titles will disappear after 4 or 5 seconds. Filming Blog: Started Filming

 My groupmate and I have started filming, I started to shoot some of the beginning scenes. Since I am the shooter I have to practically shoot almost all the scenes. I enjoy shooting as I can form different camera angles for the final task. I started shooting the opening scene of the final task. I also started shooting the middle parts of the final task, but I may need to redo them. Shooting the scenes takes a lot of work but I know I can do it. I am also learning a lot more about the process of shooting the final task. Being able to shoot different camera movements was something I looked forward to. I am also practicing my skills of being a cameraperson. I still need to film many scenes to complete the final task. Filming the opening sequence was a bit rocky in the start but then I started to get the hang of it. Shooting the different camera movements were a little difficult at first. Re-editing Blog: Re-editing for Final Task

 Hello Blog! I have decided to re-edit the opening sequence that I did. The reason why is because I felt like it did not really match what I imagined. What I imagined was that is matched up with the genre of the final task. The genre of the final task is a mixture of suspense and horror. The opening sequence was not really leaning over those genres. So I re-edited it in order to match the final task. The first thing I did was to change around the texts to look more scarier. This actually worked as the text did in fact more look scary like. I also changed up the transitions I did to look more cleaner.
