 Hello Blog! For this blog I will talk about the music I used for the opening sequence. I used copyright free music in order for me to not get copyrighted from YouTube. I also wanted music that matched up well with my opening sequence. So I searched for suspenseful creepy music that I can use for the opening sequence. In order for it to fit well I searched for music that matched with the genre of the opening sequence. If the music did not match well then I feel as though the whole thing would look like a mess. If it also did not match well then the opening sequence would not be as strong. I feel as though I made the right choice with the music I chose. I chose this music because it fit well throughout the whole opening sequence. I also chose this music because it is also the same genre as what the opening sequence is.  Hello Blog! For this blog I had someone review my opening sequence and they gave me their critiques. The main critique they gave was that they felt I put too much sound effects. The reason why I put many sound effects so that the audience can feel as though they are in the film as well. I also feel as though since my film is a suspense many films that are also suspense also have too many sound effects. That was my reason why I chose to put in as many sound effects as I can. The other critique this person gave me was that they felt as though it felt too fast. Me and My group mate wanted to include more of the plot but we ran out of time. So we did have to remove a chunk of it so that it fits into the maximum time length we can have. So I do agree with that critique as I watched back the plot felt as though it was missing something.  Hello Blog! I have decided to re-edit the opening sequence that I did. The reason why is because I felt like it did not really match what I imagined. What I imagined was that is matched up with the genre of the final task. The genre of the final task is a mixture of suspense and horror. The opening sequence was not really leaning over those genres. So I re-edited it in order to match the final task. The first thing I did was to change around the texts to look more scarier. This actually worked as the text did in fact more look scary like. I also changed up the transitions I did to look more cleaner.  Hello Blog!! So I have decided to reshoot a couple of the scenes me and my groupmate shot. The reason why is because I wanted to add a little bit more of camera shots as I feel the final task did not have enough. The camera shots made the final task look more beautiful which is what I wanted. The camera shots came out just the way I wanted, which is great. I also wanted to reshoot some scenes to add a little bit more of camera movements. The same issue was that I wanted the final task to have a little more than what it did. It ended up looking great which is what I intended. Also, it made the final task more aesthetically pleasing which is just what I wanted. I also decided to add a bit more scenes that will establish my character more. The reason why is because I feel that my character barely served the purpose that it was supposed too.  Hello Blog! I have added a few finishing touches with my final task. So far editing is almost complete, just adding a extra few things. Just adding an extra few things that will make the final task perfect. I added multiple transitions that help with the final task. I also added a few things for example I added a little bit of special effects. In order to fit the mood of the final task I added a few things to add to that. To make the transition clean I did my best by putting them in between scenes. I am also adding a bit of coloring to the final task. The color was to add to the mood or emotion of the final task. I think it was a great idea to add extra stuff to the final task. I also think it was a great idea to add a bit of coloring to the final task.  Hello Blog! Since I already finished the opening sequence, I also edited the title. The title was a fun job as I already know what I wanted to do with it. I already knew where I wanted to place it. The title is supposed to match with the mood of the final task. So I feel I did a good job at that. The editing process so far has been great for me. The title ended up turning up good. I feel like I did a great job on the title. Though the editing app was a little difficult for me. The app was causing a little bit of issues for me. I had to get a little help on how to use the app. I feel that my editing skills are improving. It was easy for me to match the title and the mood of the final task together. When I first did the title I was not a fan of it I thought it was gonna turn up differently. Though, I added a little something extra and it turned up perfectly.  Hello Blog! So me and my group mate have started the editing process. I helped edit the opening sequence of the final task. It was a great learning experience of editing the opening sequence. The opening sequence contains important information, so I had to be very great at my editing job. The opening sequence was at first a little difficult for me to edit. It was difficult for me as the editing app I used became an issue for me. As when I was adding text fonts into it, it wouldn't let me. So I tried other ways for me to input the text but it was not working. I then was searching up on how to do it. However, it just became more of an issue for me as I did not understand it. I was then trying to do an alternative way to put the text in. But that was working at first. However when I was almost finished it sort of disappeared I do not know where it went.  Hello blog! So today my group mate and I have wrapped filming for the final task. The scenes I filmed have been great as I learned how to film the scenes. Unfortunately, I did have to take out some camera movements I wanted to do but that is fine. I do feel like I did a great job filming. I did a decent job throughout the filming process. I cooperated well with my group mate which made the final task perfect. Hopefully, I did a great job filming the final task. As I never really filmed a big project before but this was a huge learning experience for me. Filming was such a learning experience for me. However at certain times I did not like recording some camera movements. I also at certain times I did not like recording some camera shots. This was such a great experience for me. As now I have gained experience of recording a big project. Filming was a joyous experience for me and I hope I do it again. I loved filming the final task and loved the filming process.  Hi blog! So I have resumed filming for the final task. My journey so far shooting the final task has been very good though I am still learning how to shoot some scenes. Shooting has been a good experience for me as I am learning new skills. I am also finding out more about the filming process. I love shooting the camera movements but I am still finding out more on how to operate the camera. I am also still finding out more about the camera shots. The camera shots so far look beautiful, but I would like to add more. I have filmed almost halfway through all the scenes but I am not finished yet. I am so far loving the filming process. However, I do not like filming certain shots as it is a little difficult for me. Though, I do love being the shooter for the final task. I am loving how the final task is turning out so far.  My groupmate and I have started filming, I started to shoot some of the beginning scenes. Since I am the shooter I have to practically shoot almost all the scenes. I enjoy shooting as I can form different camera angles for the final task. I started shooting the opening scene of the final task. I also started shooting the middle parts of the final task, but I may need to redo them. Shooting the scenes takes a lot of work but I know I can do it. I am also learning a lot more about the process of shooting the final task. Being able to shoot different camera movements was something I looked forward to. I am also practicing my skills of being a cameraperson. I still need to film many scenes to complete the final task. Description- Sofia and Camila are having a conversation before Sofia goes to sleep. Description- Sofia wakes up not knowing she is still dreaming, continues on her regular day. Description- Sofia gets ready to go to her appointment while she is still dreaming. Description- Sofia realizes there is something strange going on and before she knows it she blacks out still confused about everything that is going on. Description: Sofia comes to and sees she’s really in her therapist’s office and knows she’s done something bad.  

 The opening credits of our film will appear in a digital/Italic font that appears to be "typed" into the middle of my screen. Working Title: The title of this film will likely be "Endless Dreaming"  It will be in bold face font and in caps and will likely be in red: SOMETHING ALONG THIS STYLE  Titles will all be "typed" on to the screen. They will come as being typed and disappear with a fade. Titles will disappear after 4 or 5 seconds. Depending on the color of the scene we plan on maybe using both Black and red colors for our font something like this: DIRECTED BY : CAMILA VILLATORO AND SOFIA BORJAS

 Schedule:  1/19/24-1/20/24: Filming will begin. Me and my partner will both help with filming the best shots. The plan is to film scenes that have many creative and stylish shots so that the audience will find it pleasing.  1/21/24-1/22/24: This is when filming will be finalized, including scenes that may have a difficult time shooting. 1/23/24-1/24/24: Right after filming the editing process will begin almost immediately. This can also help me as they also give some advice about creating a title sequence which can really help me. The different title sequences from the film they include can also help me in creating a title sequence. I can explore films that have the same genre I picked, and learn what to do.
